Indie-pop duo Outdoor Velour needs help putting the finishing touches on their second EP, a 4-song 7" record.

Bloomington, IN indie-pop duo Outdoor Velour are releasing "Portrait," their second EP! We've already started recording for the 4-song release but we need your help to get it finished and pressed on a 33 1/3 rpm 7" record! 

We're very excited about these new songs, which capture everything we want to do as a band, from high levels of fuzz to stripped acoustic, all with a strong appreciation for 60s pop and Motown.

Here's what your donations will be going towards:

  • $1,100 - Remaining tracking/mixing/mastering (three days at Apocalypse Cow studios - http://callthecow.com/)
  • $600 - Vinyl duplication (includes set-up/labels/etc) (100 records)
  • $250 - Original artwork by Candice Hartsough McDonald (http://www.cordialkitten.com/)
  • $300 - Duplication of artwork & assembly

    All listed above, PLUS a personal Outdoor Velour concert put on for you and your friends! We will also perform your cover song of choice for you at the show if you want! The backer must provide a performance space for the band, must live within driving distance of Bloomington, Indiana (or pay for our airfare!), and must provide us with a place to stay for the night (couches and/or sleeping bags are acceptable!).
