The Most Beautiful High is a one-person stage adaptation of the novel Living at the Edge of the World by Jamie Pastor Bolnick and Tina S. The novel tells the story of Tina as she lives in the tunnels of Grand Central Station, becomes addicted to crack, suffers sexual abuse, lives through the suicide of her best friend and climbs from the tunnels with the help of many people along the way.
This production, the Midwest Premiere of The Most Beautiful High, is an integral one because it will be the launching pad of a tour for the show. Dialogue Productions intends to bring this show, and its message of hope, to universities, conferences, and community centers around the Midwest and the nation as a whole. This production is the final step before the leap into touring and bringing this show to the country.

Dialogue, a brand new theatre company in Chicago, will be making its premier performance among the theatre capital of the U.S. with a new script full of raw, hard-to-digest material surrounding societal, sexual, political issues. Where's the risk?
Truthfully, everything is a risk with this project. It is a difficult piece of theatre, relying heavily on its only actor, Rachel Morgan, and the validity of the text it is based on.
Being a young company, Dialogue is not yet well funded--any holes left by fundraising will be paid for by its members, who are all young artists trying to give to the community they love with their skills and abilities.
But Dialogue is prepared to meet these challenges--by having intense rehearsals, working long hours, seeking the advice of those who have been here before, and reaching out to the community for support.
