What is INDIE IN ADVANCE COMIC SAMPLER?
- Indie in Advance Comic Sampler is a graphic novel, filled with many different shorts, samples and full comics from creators who use Indie in Advance. This book is meant to showcase some of the indie talent out there right now.

Be sure to check out what is probably the worst Kickstarter video yet and yes amazingly I don't think I own a thesaurus. I am not one for being in front of a camera and I hope you can forgive my flubs.

What is INDIE IN ADVANCE?

- Indie in Advance is a place where indie comics of all walks of life will be able to find a home. We do printing, selling and distribution of all kinds of indie comics. And it isn't just indie comics we work with. It is some of the best COMICS in the industry and that is why we are trying to create this book to showcase them. We want to be able to share our love of Indie books with more people and this will help us do it.

How are we going to make comics available to everyone?

- First, we start with retailers. The main focus of the Indie in Advance is to help Indie creators and retailers work together. This sampler is going to be a key component in that equation. We will be sending this book out to retailers so they can see what we are offering. The idea is to be able to do that at no charge to the retailers, which is why we are coming to Kickstarter to get this project started.

Why retailers?- I believe that retailers are still the backbone of the comic industry and should be treated as such. I am hoping they are in turn willing to step out of their comfort box and try something new.

What do I mean by try something new?

- For years it has been a single distribution that has determined what comics become available for retailers to sell. To me that is a great disservice to the retailers. Who better than they know what they can sell in their stores? Retailers should have control over what books make it into their shops. I stand by the idea that retailers should say what they can sell. I have seen stores sell 200 issues of an indie book within a week. Retailers have that kind of power. We wish to help give you the tools and support needed to do this.

Creators, we are also going to be asking for your help as well. We have the caged monkeys ready to help pick what stories and pages will go into the Sampler, but we need your submissions to help round that out. We are looking for shorts, samples of your works or possibly even full issues. Send in what you think will work best for us.This is the year of the Creator Owned book. Don’t get left behind. Get your books in and let us get them out to more people.

Well, that is great, you want $25,000 to make a comic sampler book?

Yes, we are asking for $25,000 to make a BOOK, but this book will have some of the best Indie comics that are being made out there right now. The reason we are asking for so much is we want to make this available to as many retailers and fans as we can at a very low cost to no cost. If you support in Indie comics and want to help continue to make this the amazing year it is looking to be for them please consider backing us. The money will be used to pay for the putting together/design of the book, the printing and the shipping for it.  Any money we get over the $25,000 will be used to add more stories and make the book longer.
