Wow!  It's really hard to believe, but we've got just over 24 hours to go on this!  Thanks so much to everyone who's contributed, and everyone who's forwarded on the word.

I've been busy figuring out the best way to use the funds I'll be receiving through Kickstarter, since we've raised more than I was asking for.  I've got a list of excellent equipment I'll be ordering the moment I get the funds, and I'll be baking in large quantities the moment I receive the equipment!  

Thanks again; I can't wait to get your rewards out to you!  When the Kickstarter closes and I have all the backer information, I'll be able to give more detailed information about where and when to get the behind-the-scenes video rewards, and when I'll be able to send you any other rewards you've selected.

This past weekend was the memorial service for my grandfather, Morris Davis, and below is a picture of the cake I made for the reception.

Wow, you guys.  Earlier today we reached the Kickstarter goal, and we didn't even pause to say hello before leaving it in our dust.  

I've posted an update on the project page about my stretch goal of decorating cakes locally in addition to the cookies, check it out for more information!  There's also a new donation reward, at the $50 level, for a custom decorated nine inch cake (for local delivery only).  

Tonight my lovely gentleman friend took me out to celebrate, and I requested a nostalgic treat: Outback Steakhouse.  My dad used to take my sister and me there for special occasions.  I didn't used to order alcoholic slurpees though.  I think I've grown up!
