Lindsey Porter of Brave Moonman is setting out to complete at least 101 different designs of cassette tape-themed zip pouches!
I'm Lindsey and I've been designing accessories since 2006. I use 100% wool felt and I do techniques like hand-embroidery and applique. I mainly make zip pouches and phone cases inspired by dead/dying media such as old school video game controllers and floppy disks, but the subject I find most inspiring is the cassette tape. With cassettes I'm able to really get creative because there's a variety of colors and graphics to work with and there's just something about them that has personality. I've been working on a small scale but most of my designs are stuck at the drawing board because of lack of resources. What I need is felt and other craft and organizational supplies as well as a suitable space to work in so I can bring my ideas to life!

The challenge of this project is completing a high volume of pouches in a short period of time. There is only so much sewing one can do in each day and depending on how many pledges I receive for the cassette pouches, there is a risk of some delay. That being said I am 100% confident that each reward item will be produced and delivered, barring serious injury or death. I have been conducting transactions online honestly for the past 6 years and I never, ever take people's money and run.
