Yes, that is our band name, and let me tell you why...
Our band is built around the fact that music should be open, accessible, and unaffected by corporate interests. It is our goal as a band to create inspiring music that is a catalyst for your own creation. We want to lift you out of everyday life into something new. Just how a public radio program in the morning in traffic can take you to another place - we want to create a moment with you.
We created our first EP in the rolling hills of Regensburg, Germany with our good friend and producer, Nicolas Balachandran. The 5 song EP, 'sweetchild' was very successful and earned us a couple major label showcases. However, since less than 5% of music is purchased legitimately these days, we are staring at an empty bank account.
We would like you to be our, 'Interscope'. We would like you to be our 'Capital' , and you can wear a suit if you want... Before I tell you what we need, I want to explain kickstarter to you - I was skeptical too.
Fan-funded albums, really? I was completely skeptical about a fan-funded album when the idea first started surfacing in the indie circles several years ago. My thought was, 'If I can't pay myself back with record sales, then why would I be able to with donations'? I was a pessimist. However, I began to see some friends have success and raising quite a bit more than their goals. I am a believer now...
Here are a couple things that you need to know: 1. No money is given to us until the fundraising campaign is complete. 2. No money is given to us if we do not meet our goal.

The Deal: Nicolas will be in and out of the states during the recording as he is a successful and busy producer. To keep costs down we will work mostly out of my house and send files back and forth until it is done. Nicolas believes in Public Radio as much or more than me - he is giving us a deal, trust me.
