I grew up in a little town just outside of Stuttgart, Germany. In 2004, I decided to leave to Australia to “travel for a few months”. I ended up staying for a year and added almost another to travel all over South East Asia. Here it was where I learned most of my English skills and broadened my horizon. I became fascinated by the simple lifestyle, foreign cultures and the exploring wildlife and was amazed by how tangible life is in the developing countries of South East Asia. Since then, I have been travelling whenever I could. In 2007, I started to study International Communication in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. For the fifth semester I went to Monterrey, Mexico, where he took a course in Anthropology and learned to speak Spanish. I heard about the Un Mundo/ARTE_RIO project via a friend of the director who I met in Cambodia and was eventually offered a position as project coordinator for this year’s Art and Culture Festival. Due to my experience in Event Management and love for art and music, I considered it as the perfect task for me and accepted.
