Midsummer Nightmares is an indie horror film, that is raising money to set up several showings, in several different states "OH-IN-PA"
Midsummer Nightmares was recently filmed in May/June, 2011 by Shawn Burkett "Cinematographer/Producer/Director Of Photography" and Ryan Stacy "Writer/Director".
After many unforeseen actions, such as cast member quitting and location's falling through the week of production, this production team refused to give up. After a day of location scouting and auditions, the new actor's were added to the cast, and new locations were found and the film was shot in twelve days.
Midsummer Nightmares is the story about four friends who are preparing to throw a costume party, Midsummer Nightmares, which everyone calls 'the social event of the season.' But there is someone in their midst's who would prefer to make this faux bloodbath a real one.
One critic called Midsummer Nightmares "...Inventive! And very impressed by the talent and images afforded in the fresh team's first movie."
Current we are raising money to set up several screening in a few selected states, such as Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Kentucky. We are also currently touring horror film festivals throughout the Midwest.
Every dollar counts, and this is why we have set our funding goal low, but we are hoping to raise $1,000
