DBLOH is in the style of the classic horror host shows, featuring the best, worst, and cheesiest public domain horror & sci-fi movies!
Dr. Blasko's Laboratory of Horror is a throw back to yesteryear with the classic horror hosts. Featuring the hapless, mad scientist Dr. Blasko, his hunchbacked assistant Fritz, and monster creation Carl, DBLOH follows the crew as they attempt to take over the world with a new invention each week. As Dr. Blasko's final gift to society, he shows the best, worst, and cheesiest public domain horror and sci-fi films, featuring hilarious sketches throughout the films. The show is cheap and cheesy, but still requires funding in order to build sets and make costumes.
The series will not only be posted online, but will be broadcast on Mercer99 and will be seen by thousands of Mercer University students. By supporting the show, you support the hard work and educations of Macon-based college students.

All money will go to production. Costumes, props, sets, etc. Any money left over will go into rewards / pre-production for what we hope will be Season 2!

The series is from creator, star, and co-writer, Braeden Orr, an award-filmmaker from Jonesboro, GA, currently residing in Macon, GA. The series also stars actor Patrick Mathis and series co-writer and rising abridger Richard Hawkins. With help from the Mercer 99 production team, this in house project by students of Mercer University is sure to delight all who love these films!

While we love getting input from our viewers, Season 1 is already set in stone! That being said, we are already considering ideas for a second season and would love to hear suggestions. Keep in mind we can ONLY show films in the public domain. So sorry, no Metropolis. :(
