Kickstarter

Okay, the title is an utterly geeky reference to this update being the lucky number, and with as long as this project took, I also feel as though I have been there and back again.

In any case I am very pleased to finally announce the completion of the Copper Vase. My apologies for this project lasting much longer than expected. So, allow me to instead convey gratitude to my backers, especially Alex Weitzer who was gracious not only in funding this, but for his extraordinary patience throughout this long, drawn-out ordeal. I'd also like to thank Wray Schelin who selflessly mentored me and allowed me access to his metal working shop in order to finish this project.

It's not perfect, but I'm still quite proud of it. The last couple of pics show the 'before' stages of the base as it was being welded into place (happily done by me :). There isn't a pic of the finished bottom, but the texture of it is now the same as the finished sides. Enjoy....
