78% is pretty close, you need to try this again with a target of around $26,000. Maybe Hero Games or Cryptic Studios can cover the rest somehow.

I wish I had won Megamillions and I would have bought part of DOJ and got this printed but it was not in the stars! I am sorry. I hope you all still try Villians Vol 3 though.
Creator David Bolack on April 2, 2012
I think, maybe, the scope was just too much. Can you see any reasonable way of breaking it into two or three pieces?
Creator Jeb Boyt on April 2, 2012
I was sorry to see that this didn't work out. Any thought of giving it another go with a lower level of success and more of a ladder for progressive funding?
Creator Daniel Dickson on April 2, 2012
So sorry this didn't work out, for you as well as for us. It was a valiant effort from everyone involved. As you say, perhaps MH will materialize by another route one day.
We may now have a clearer idea of the range of funding by this model that can be realistically expected for future Hero projects, which would be useful.
Creator S. John Ross on April 2, 2012
The level of funding and enthusiasm on this project, even though it didn't make goal ... was just so enormously impressive. So much to be proud of, sir.
