I was born and raised in Colorado and currently I am working and living in Penland, North Carolina. I studied industrial design at Metro State College of Denver for two years. After building my first piece of furniture, I decided to focus primarily on furniture design. This led me to Savannah College of Art and Design, where in 2008 I graduated with a degree in furniture design. I love building objects for living because of the processes involved. Creating three-dimensional forms from two dimensional drawings and raw materials, is a fascinating process in itself. I am trying now to have my work communicate to people on a deeper level, by integrating real issues.
