Almost there!

Update #3 · May 2, 2012 · comment
Greetings backers! There are only 7 days left to get Botanical Voyeur funded and I am starting to get excited about all that is in store for us! I started a workspace over at Wunderkit: https://www.wunderkit.com/#/botanical-voyeur to help organize the stuff. Not much is there yet as I am still working out the kinks of the site and getting things in order. Feel free to join the workspace and post comments, thoughts etc if you are so incluned. Ive started on the map for the research locations and will be traveling from western Iowa to the Mississippi for the samples, pictures and notes for the book. So far I am looking at 20 different sites and I am sure that number will grow and change as we get closer to launch. Ive also started a log of some organisms/relationships that I want to make sure to hit on, including a fungi that can virtually rape plant cells, a plant that poisons the soil around it to kill competitors and a wasp that uses the bodies of prey to birth its young. So cool! Thank you again for helping to fund Botanical Voyeur and please share this project with others who might help see that we hit our funding goal in the next 7 days. Take care, Jen J Dixon, Botanical Voyeur
