The Community
My vision for this book is that it would it go out into the world and benefit people's lives. I also hope that as a result of this book, that a supportive community would be come together for one another as we all journey together to nurture ourselves and our creativity.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The design process is challenging & I am thankful to have found a few great people to help me with this project. I will be enlisting the expertise of an illustrator & cover designer who will also do the final layout. Since they will be translating my content into computer format and there will be a great deal of back and forth dialogue, making certain that the final Art Nurture book is filled with inspiration that is clear & easy to read. The fear is always that the project wont happen or wont be successful, but my belief is that this content is incredibly important. I believe that we each have a unique art to nurture for ourselves & to give to the world and I hope that this process and this book will help others catch the fire and begin nourishing their creativity as an integrated part of their lives.

DAY OF CREATIVE NURTURE ( great option for those in the South East who want a full day of Art Nurture Goodness!) Come visit Asheville, NC and spend a day in my studio! This is best for groups of 6 or less because of space. I will facilitate a one-day workshop where we will explore the real steps we can take to nurture our creativity. We will also delve into the daily applications of creativity in our lives and learn how it can keep us fresh, excited and energized in many facets of ourselves! This will be a deeper, more interactive experience based on the topics covered in the book! Each person will receive a copy of the Art Nurture Book in advance of your visit! Some topics of focus could be: the importance of inspiration in the workplace, creativity in family life, personal discovery through creativity or how to find you're own art to nurture. (must be planned for 2013)
