About this project

This is our last shot. The final opportunity for a band to stay together, make some sick music, and unleash it on the masses.
The Gist of the Situation Long distance is hard on relationships, both for friends and family. It's even harder when it's friends AND family. Such is the case for my band. I had to follow my dreams to go to school in California and, in doing so, abandon my band in Indiana- some of the closest friends I've had and an extension of my family. The result? After 3 years of hard work, shows, tours, recording, practicing, rehearsing, flying cross-country, and trying to make this work, we had to go on an indefinite hiatus due to the difficulty of working together. I've felt guilty ever since, realizing my departure was the greatest contributing factor to our forced resignation from our dreams of surviving in the music world.

Recently, I talked to Tom, the guitar player and one of my best friends, and he said he wanted to give it one last shot. He said that we've put too much into this to just give up. We're a talented and smart group of kids (if I do say so myself) so why shouldn't we be able to accomplish this?

We Figured Out What We Have to Do We want to go to write new material and record with Jamie King (known for recording Between the Buried and Me and others) in North Carolina this winter. We’ve given it all we’ve got, but there’s just enough desire inside of each of us to make this EP the best thing we’ve ever done. And, if we feel the recording is a success, we'll send it out and try to make this band work. If not, then we put in our absolute best effort and that's the best we can do. (But we know it’ll succeed.)

What You Can Do to Save Our Dreams You have the opportunity to give our dreams one last shot. Your contribution will help send us to a professional studio to record an EP that is the endgame for our band.

Here’s how you can be our heroes and show us that other people care about our music as much as we do: I live in Los Angeles. The band is in Indiana. The recording studio is in North Carolina. We need money for recording, numerous plane tickets, hotels, gas, and food. Plus, money for getting the CDs duplicated and sent out. (Long distance relationships are also expensive, as it turns out.)

What You Get for Saving Us What, saving a band isn’t enough? Check out the incentives on the right side of the page for the awesome stuff you get for being, well, awesome!

We need you, Kickstarter community. We almost gave up. Give us hope. Give us a chance. Give us your money.

Thank you for everything,
Ari, Tom, and Ryan
