3Tones are a 3 dimensional representation of a halftone photograph. 3Tones are a combination of abstract art and photography. When viewed up close, you see an amazing piece of abstract art. Take a couple steps back and your perception shifts from viewing abstract piece of art to your chosen photograph.
Made of Corian, the structured pattern of conical shaped holes in 3Tones are not only pleasing to the eye, they are a pleasure to touch.
THE PRODUCT YOU WILL RECEIVE IS A 3TONE OF THE PHOTOGRAPH YOU SEND ME. THE PHOTOGRAPH CAN BE OF ANYTHING AND IT CAN BE IN COLOR OR BLACK AND WHITE. ONCE THIS IS SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL EMAIL ME THE PHOTOGRAPH YOU WANT ME TO USE AND SELECT EITHER WHITE OR VANILLA (OFF WHITE) CORIAN AND THE COLOR; BLACK, MIDNIGHT BLUE OR DARK BROWN (SEPIA EFFECT...)
The process of creating 3Tones is a series of mathematical manipulations based on the gray-scale values of your photograph to create the CNC code that drill the holes to the calculated depths.

I’ve done my R&D using the equipment at TechShopRDU. The folks at TechShop have been very accommodating, but to complete this project, I need my own facility and my own equipment. My shop is set up and ready to start production.
To make this project economically feasible, I need to purchase Corian in bulk. Your assistance is also needed to help with the purchase of equipment and to cover the cost of properly packing and shipping your art.
