From the bottom of the barrel, we strive to establish Chaaronick Cellars, spreading the love amongst family, friends, and winos alike.

Fellow wine lovers,

It's Nick, Charlie, and Aaron here! First of all we would like to thank you for looking into our project, it means the world to us that took the time to do so. Let me give you brief history on the three of us. We have been friends since around age 4, and along the way we have attended school together, played sports, vacationed and much more. So you want to hear about our project, right? We want to make wine! The idea came up about 6 months ago, most likely over us sharing multiple glasses of wine. Before we decided to dive straight into our first vintage, we researched and tasted. We wanted to develop a fine-tuned feel for the process and wine itself before we decided to spring into action. Our preparations include the purchase of barrels, books, cleaning solutions; as well as creating our personal "wine room,” which you can view in our video. However, we are currently at a stand still as we wait for grapes, but 1000 pounds of Cab grapes have been ordered from Slide Mountain Vineyard in WA. The wines produced from these fields have won several awards, and have bottles rated at $70+. Renowned winemaker Owen Roe purchases grapes from the same vineyard.

This is where you amazing people come into play! While we currently have some of the equipment there is still a significant amount of supplies needed. It is not cheap to get into a project of wine making, if you didn't already know. The following is a list of what we still need: a pump to transfer wine from fermenters to barrels, a harvest bin to put the grapes in when we go to pick them up, food grade/plastic barrels to put the grapes in for the second fermentation, stainless steel tools, bottles, corks, labels. As these vital components to wine-making are acquired, we become that much closer to getting these finished bottles of wine to you, your friends and family!

We need to raise $3000 to get Chaaronick Cellars into production. Now, you may be wondering, "What the heck are these boys going to buy with that all that money?" This will cover the supplies talked about above and others that weren't mentioned, from rentals of a crusher and a wine press, a floor corker, a bottle filler, heat blankets, wine thieves, thermometers, filters, scales, tannins, yeast strains, and so on! A lot goes into wine making! However, these expenses will not be including the grapes as those will be funded by yours truly!! The coolest part about buying these supplies is that the majority will be re-used for the future batches to come!! We have high aspirations for the future and growth of Chaaronick Cellars, and plan to produce larger and larger quantities of wine each year. Who knows, you could see it on the shelf in 10 years, and you will be able to say you funded our product!

Now to be perfectly honest, we do want to add a disclaimer that this will be our FIRST batch of wine we've ever crafted! But you can't make a second or third if you don't make a first. As you know there are always ups and downs with taking up a new craft, BUT we are more than confident and have the belief and knowledge, through research and communicating with wine makers and experts that we can and will make an awesome bottle of wine!

We expect to pick up our grapes in September (what the vineyard suggests). So we are hoping to have the project funded by the end of July. That gives us plenty of time to put in our orders for equipment, to choose our yeast strains, tannins, and sanitize all the new equipment. We are beyond excited for this, and if you know us or have talked to us, you have seen our passion and drive. We want to thank you so much, whether you decide to donate or not, for even taking the time to read and hear about our project! We can use all the love and support we can get! Spread the word! Thank you again and much love. If you have any questions, concerns, or even complaints you can email us at winelovingboys@gmail.com -Nick, Charlie & Aaron
