About this project
The Miami-based musician and visual artist Dino Felipe is embarking on a thirty-day tour of the East Coast and Midwest beginning at the end of September, 2011. With his supporting act, This Heart Electric, he will play almost one show per day in cities like Chapel Hill, NC, Brooklyn, NY, and Detroit, MI. With the help of booking agent/songstress Ember Schrag and lots of friends and musicians all over the country, the tour has been a project months in the making and is finally coming to fruition.
It will be the third and longest tour in Dino's fifteen-year-plus career, and the first in which he has been completely creatively involved. Having recently completed his fiftieth official release (Please Enjoy This), this tour is also a milestone, a culmination of his life's work and an indication of both the years and effort he's spent dedicating his life to music.
Due to medical reasons, Dino is unable to drive and is considered unemployable by companies. He has therefore not been able to gain enough funds for his creative projects throughout the years, let alone cover the costs of touring. This fall, he will be managed and driven around the country by his supporting act, This Heart Electric (Ricardo Guerrero). All funds received will go toward ensuring that Dino completes the full tour, covering calculated gas costs, some lodging costs, and possible emergency vehicle repairs--Ricardo's truck is a tough one, but has been known to break down!
The tour will be promoted through both Dino Felipe's and This Heart Electric's networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr). We greatly appreciate any help you can give!

Dino Felipe is a Miami-based musician and multimedia artist. At age 33, he has released over fifty albums, EPs, and singles--ranging in genre from IDM to pop rock--on various independent record labels and on his own, all recorded from home. Due to his severe anxiety disorder, he is unable to drive a car and is therefore mostly confined to his house, where he lives with his mother and an array of colorful pets and plants.
