Hi Pat, Thanks so much for the support on so many levels! I have applied to a few grants recently so fingers are crossed. Any assistance you can offer with finding other grant info is a huge help as well as sending a few emails out to friends/family that would be interested in helping. I'll send you an email with any ideas I have but getting in touch with some of the people on your faculty would be helpful as well. I'll head down to the Dukem, it's only a few blocks from me.
Thanks Pat!!

Jonathan,
I love this project ! I will become a $100.00 backer now with the possibility of more backing before your November 12th deadline. This week-end, I will pull together some email addresses of those who may also become backers. Additionally, I will look into any local grant money that may be available for such a project. I know that time is not on our side with respect to grant money but you never know. If you have any postcards of this project, you could always leave some out in popular places or pass them out at the upcoming Baltimore Book Fair. Have you thought about doing a fundraising event at your place? Use me as a volunteer for any outreach that you want to do. I know that there are some Ethiopians on faculty here...don't know how many, but I would venture to say at least 20. Also, what about the Ethiopian restaurants? Great way to get the word out. I know of Dukem and the one on Washington Street. Perhaps you can approach them about a fundraiser. I don't know anyone personally, but they are approachable. If you want me to "act" as your marketing person in order to get them involved, I would be happy to do so. This is a great idea!!
