Getting Ready!

Pre-production is getting underway with “I Am I”!
We will soon add all of your names to our list of supporters on our website! If you have not yet filled out the survey we sent you about a month ago, please do. You can do this by going to kickstarter and signing in to your account. When you do, you will see a yellow sign if you have not yet done the survey! For all of you who chose “no reward”, your names will not be included unless you let us know that you would like them to be!
We are also getting our behind-the-scenes limited access page ready to go for production. When it is up and running we will send you a private link to this page so you can check out production stills!!!
Several of you have written to us mentioning that you forgot to include shipping costs when you pledged on Kickstarter if you live outside the U.S. Thank you for noticing! We have set up a paypal account so that you can now include it. You will have to enter the amount manually. Here is the link to do that:

You will also notice on this link that there are incentives similar to the ones we had on Kickstarter. This is because we have had many requests from people to contribute to the film even though our Kickstarter campaign is over. All contributions will continue to go directly to the production of our film!
I had a wonderful and inspiring talk with Yancey Strickler, one of the founders of Kickstarter on his most recent visit to Los Angeles. It was lovely to finally meet a member of the team in person and hear about the origins of Kickstarter. They have such a great group of people working there and they have truly created an amazing platform for artists to grow and share their work.
We have been having some incredible production meetings as we start to find the team members who will be working with us on this project. When we begin to scout locations and get further into pre-production we will send photos and updates on a more frequent basis! I will also be tweeting about the film (@jocelyntowne).
As this amazing process gets underway, I want to thank all of you again for making this possible. Most of the day I’m running around, but every once in a while I stop and think, “We’re making a movie. I can’t believe it’s actually happening.” It’s all because of your support.
