The year is 2043. Test subject David Beck has been augmented with psychokinetic abilities. He uses his newfound gifts to thwart evil.
STORY
Era is set in the year 2043. Test subject, David Beck, awakes from sedation only to discover he has been subject to a research experiment purposed for augmenting the human condition. He has no recollection of who he is, but soon discovers he possesses Psychokinetic abilities. With the help of Ryan Shaw, he learns to harness his powers to ultimately fight the evil that created him.
BACKGROUND
The concept for ERA came about from my own personal urge and necessity to create something awesome and yet meaningful. It has been a project I've wanted to do for quite some time now. With help from an amazing friend and artist, Mark "Air" Watts, I was able to give my idea a face. We originally constructed ERA to be a comic book series. However, the more I began developing the story I knew this had to be something more. We then decided to convert from comic to motion comic. The audible dialogue really helped bring the comic to life. So much so, we decided to take it one step further. Our ultimate goal now is to make ERA a full fledged animated web series! The only obstacle that stands in our way is money. Turns out animation isn't all that cheap or easy to do.
KICKSTARTER
New to Kickstarter? No problem! How it works is a project will have a target goal it must reach, usually within 30 days. If you, the pledger, feel it's a project worth investing in, you may pledge however much you wish by clicking the big green pledge button at the top. To make it more worth your while, rewards are given for pledging a certain amount of money. So the more you pledge, the more you get in return. We are humbly asking you guys to support us in any way, shape, or form. Our target is to hit $30,000 to help make this project a reality. It will help us finish the first 5 episodes we have planned out for your enjoyment. Since we only have a two man staff at the moment, majority of the money will go towards paying for the artwork and animation. The rest will go towards much needed supplies and equipment. I firmly believe, with your help, ERA could be the next thrilling Sci-Fi adventure people of all ages will come to remember for a long time!
