Update #29: Changes....
Hi everyone,
SInce the great success of the Kickstarter drive and the screening, the film has taken on a new life and a higher profile or sorts. A week ago we filmed a fantastic interview with Bruce Springsteen about what Graham Parker has meant to HIM as an artist. This would never have happened if the Kickstarter drive hadn't breathed new life into the project. The donations you all have given were what we needed to finish last summer and get that film out to you all. But as Graham is actually excited about this film, he as well as many of the people who saw it, have encourged me to push for other interviews as well as entering it into festivals. That is the path we have taken.
I understand many of you hoped to get the rewards by now. And I as well hoped to have already sent it out to you. But as I have contributed to a few projects on KS as well, I know I wouldn't want a copy of a rough cut that would change and be a very different film at the end of the filmmaking process. I would want the final cut. Perhaps I am wrong, so I am letting you all know that we are working on securing two other interviews of the level of Springsteen and this will push the dead line for the final cut back by two months. If this is not ok with any of you, please let me know. Someone has already posted some damaging comments about the film and my integrity. He will receive a full refund. But most of you people have been very supportive and your faith and understanding have been outstanding and I really appreciate that.
Anyone else who has lost faith or patience, please let me know.
Regards,
Michael

I don't mind waiting at all. As this is the 1st time I've done a KS project, and I don't know the filmmaker at all, I suppose I could be a little nervous about it. However, I spoke to Graham back in October (after a show) after he had seen the rough cut and he was very excited about it and said things were being added. Can't wait to see the end result! Oh, correction, I CAN wait!
I saw the Ramones film. I can wait.
Hi Michael. It was worth travelling 4,500 miles for a fabulous event, many memories I will cherish forever. I'm 100% behind you and want the film to be just as you (and GP, of course) want it to be. What's the point of rushing? Don't get it at all. Any doubters, just point them my way!
Cheers
Rob
