The Big Picture is a public photography education fair being hosted by JP Pullos, Lydia Billings, and friends in Times Square, NYC on May 26th, 2012 (9am-8pm) to benefit 100cameras.

The fair is free and open to the public, and will serve as an opportunity for NYC natives and tourists alike to learn one-on-one skills using their own cameras to create more dynamic and evocative photographs.  The fair will include 3 creative stations, through which each guest will be led by a photography expert. Following these stations, guests will be able to explore Times Square via a photography scavenger hunt brought to us by CityHunt.  At the end of the education experience, guests will be given the opportunity to make donations to 100cameras.

100cameras is a not-for-profit organization established in 2009 which aims to empower marginalized children world-wide through their own photographic creations.  By traveling around the globe, partnering with child-centered organizations, and offering photography intensives, 100cameras allows children without access to art-making the opportunity to sell and profit from their own photography. 

The Big Picture will donate 100% of its proceeds to 100cameras in order to further their outreach and efforts across the globe. With your support, we can make sure The Big Picture is a huge success!
