Gab Cody is a seriously funny playwright and filmmaker. She uses her skills as a storyteller and producer-- as well as a classically trained actor, improviser and standup comedian-- to create hilariously brain-agitating works. Her plays, films and live shows-- whether inspired by commedia dell'arte, Nietzsche's philosophy, 1930’s screwball comedy or 1960’s horror films-- are always funny and insightful. Her credits include the cult hit short film Mombies, the original stage comedies Crush the Infamous Thing, Prussia: 1866, Fat Beckett and The Sisters Grey, and regular appearances on WDVE’s The Jim and Randy Show.
Sam Turich is a director, writer and actor. With Gab Cody he co-created Mombies, which screened at film festivals across America and Europe, and the original stage comedy Crush the Infamous Thing: The Adventures of the Hollywood Four, which had its world premiere at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami after workshops at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and Urban Stages in New York. Sam played the lead in Kyle Jarrow’s Armless, winner of the Best Overall Production Award at the New York International Fringe Festival. In New York, Sam was a writer and performer in Weekly Review, the original news-parody musical.
