About this project

FILM SYNOPSIS:

After a violent attack leaves her homebound and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, the once beautiful and vivacious JULIA develops a series of obsessive compulsive rituals to bring order and control to her chaotic inner life.  But now, the very rituals that saved her threaten to rob her of what’s left of her sanity.  When her attacker, ED MITCHELL, returns to finish the job he started, Julia can’t be sure whether he’s real or a just another figment of her delusions.

THE GAME PLAN:

The film Twelve, Twelve, Twelve will be produced by Geoff Foley and directed by award winning director John C. Sheetz as well as shot by experienced Director of Photography Thomas A. Koch on the Canon 5D Mark II over a three day period in May. We are currently in pre-production in the casting phase. Over the the coming March weekends we will be holding auditions in Los Angeles and San Francisco looking for our leading lady who will carry the film alongside veteran actor Brett Rickaby as Ed Mitchell.

Over the past 15 years we have amassed a talented and experienced crew consisting of many individuals from all departments of film production. Pulling all of these resources we plan on executing dynamic production value as well as an incredibly moving film in the 8 minute length of the picture. It will be shot in a single location in San Francisco.

The funds we are seeking is for the complete production and post-production of the film. The experienced individuals are all donating their time and talent to the film, but the equipment, props, supplies and travel needs to be covered. And lets not forget food, it's the main ingredient in keeping a film crew happy and productive.

So thank you upfront for everything and come along and enjoy the ride. I will be updating frequently with pictures on the set, and video blogs which those who have contributed will be able to follow.

Has not connected their Facebook account.

John C. Sheetz got his start in filmmaking with several small college productions in 1991, which progressed to independent shorts filmed “guerrilla-style” with friends, little to no money, and a vision of the finished product.

John has written and directed a number of shorts ranging in genre from art-house to comedy since then winning awards such as the WAVE (Western Alliance for Video Excellence) award, and the Golden Telly.

John is currently at work putting together the film Twelve, Twelve, Twelve an 8 minute short delving into the OCD psyche of an abused woman. His plans after the completion of the short and the festival circuit will be switching his attention to feature work, including a heist-drama that he is hoping will pique the interest of investors.
