Our project is about publishing Barry Buss' personal memoir about his junior tennis experience and the strains that put upon his relationship with his father and ultimately upon himself. This is a larger space in dire need of filling from someone who lived the junior tennis experience to the extent Barry did. His writing skills will detail a highly compelling personal story that could stand on it's own as quality literature. The real takeaway from this project is how he is able to communicate his personal story in a universal way. Every reader who has played the sport of tennis or is raising a child in the junior tennis experience will learn invaluable lessons about how best to navigate the oft difficult terrain of raising a child in such a demanding sport. Barry and I are taking his work on this topic and have developed a tennis clinic/seminar project we will be going to tennis clubs throughout the country and educating families about the whole environment of the junior tennis experience, with Barry's book as the foundation for our seminars.The project funding is to self publish 500-1000 copies of the book..estimated costs are 4 dollars per unit as quoted by the self publishing firm we have spoken to
