A California native, Sam has been involved in the entertainment industry his whole life.
After graduating Boston College, Sam returned to Los Angeles, to pursue his passion in music, art, and business. Working at MCA Records and as A/R at EMI Capitol Records, he honed his professional skills in product and artist development, working with such acts as Merle Haggard, Duran Duran, Megadeth, Blondie, N.E.R.D, Lenny Kravitz, and Glen Campbell to name a few. Sam also spearheaded the successful effort for famed radio DJ Rodney "on the Roq" Bingenheimer to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Now, with his focus towards brand and estate management, Sam is the youngest grandson and managing member of the Ozzie and Harriet Trust and principal of his father's company, The Rick Nelson Company. In his free time Sam performs and produces music with his rock band H is Orange and spends quality time with his Boxer Anna.
