Update #4: WUPS. wrong link.
Sorry guys. There's a new link now. And there's some good news behind it. Tomorrow, on Valentine's Day Vimeo and Short of the Week (two highly respected film sites) will be featuring Moving Takahashi as part of the Valentine's Day programming.
So, they've asked us to repost the short film as a new link so they can publicize it as a fresh discovery. Takahashi will be getting a lot of attention tomorrow. Make sure to spread it across your social networks as well!
Update #3: Takahashi is LIVE
for those of you that haven't seen it, here it is. Thanks again for all of your support!
Update #2: Takahashi Update!
Update #1: Wow.
We are truly humbled by the response to our little film.
Our friends and our families are melting our hearts in record time and inspiring us to make the film of our dreams. This morning we officially met our kickstarter goal thanks to all of you who have pledged thus far!
Our actual budget is almost twice what we posted on Kickstarter (we had no idea we would receive this kind of swift generosity) so we are still encouraging people to keep going beyond the 17.5 and to keep spreading the word. We are now in a position to go after the locations, the actors and the tools we dreamed of when conceiving this film, especially if we can keep this momentum going.
To those of you who have backed us, big and small, we are so grateful and so touched.
Lovingly
Josh and the entire Takahashi Team
