Update #2: Episode One December First
Not getting your Kickstarter money is not all bad. Our campaign really helped to focus on the best path for the material. And I am proud to announce FTFTN'T the web-series. Starting December 1st, 2010. Check out ftfnt.com and maybe give again if you'd like. Add a bookmark, and do a little dance because FTFN'T is coming to your internet in 30 days!
Update #1: Thank you for the pledge!
As you know by now, we did not get to our minimum for this Kickstarter campaign. But, a lot of great things did happen during our orgy of promotion and begging. More people know about the film than ever before and we are energized by the positive reactions to the project. We received 1,990.00 in pledges on Kickstarter in thirty days. That is some heart warming shit. The little movie that we needed to finish, has become the little movie that stood up on his little cartoon legs and asked to be finished. We are forever grateful to the 57 project backers who gave FTFN'T more than a pledge. Thank you so much. Seriously though. Look at me. Thank. You.
FTFN'T: a fan funded web series! Yep. That just happened. We are still ironing out the details but the first episode is nearly funded and the new edit is looking pretty bad-ass, so yeah. Web-series. We'll re-cut the movie and release it one episode at a time at regular intervals. And we're working on a fun donor program for fans who support the show. You can get updates, you can "like" our Facebook page, donate and watch video from the project at http://bigoltirefire.com/ftfnt/.
Just because we missed our goal on Kickstarter doesn't mean we don't still have a giant crush on the site. 'Cause we do. This is some powerful empowerment with extra pow. We'll be back with more projects soon. We have dreams to draw.
Again, thanks for the pledges! You are very nice people, indeed.

Pledge $10 or more Pledge $10 or more
$10 gets you in the credits and a high quality download of the film. No dirty DVDs to smudge with your oily fingers. Just you, the internet and as many cats as you can fit in your apartment.
Pledge $20 or more Pledge $20 or more
$20 gets you in the credits, a download of the film and a FTFN'T T-shirt. This is one sweet bundle of reward that will probably get you some action if not some undue positive attention.
Pledge $25 or more Pledge $25 or more
$25 gets you in the credits, a download of the film and a cast autographed FTFN'T T-shirt. If one of us goes super famous you could sell that shirt for at least 35-40 bucks. We only have the energy to sign 100 of these so sign up for this reward while it last.
Pledge $30 or more Pledge $30 or more
$30 gets you in the credits, a download of the film, a FTFN'T T-shirt and admission to the FTFN'T premier party in Austin, Texas. We throw a great party, trust me.
Pledge $50 or more Pledge $50 or more
$50 gets you in the credits, a download of the film, a FTFN'T T-shirt and VIP admission to the FTFN'T premier party in Austin, Texas. Fancy beer, spirits, sprinklers, glitter, and a red rope that means you smell better than the little people.

$150 gets you in the credits, a download of the film, a FTFN'T T-shirt, VIP admission to the FTFN'T premier party in Austin, Texas and a large printed and framed portrait in the style of the film drawn by the director. It will sit over the mantle, behind the bowling trophy and above the dog who is now forever intimidated into staying off of the couch. That's the power of art.
Pledge $500 or more Pledge $500 or more
$500 gets you a download of the film, a FTFN'T T-shirt, VIP admission to the FTFN'T premier party in Austin, Texas, a large printed and framed portrait in the style of the film drawn by the director and a producer credit in the film. Hitch your wagon to our little star and take the ride with us. It will be such a nice ride.
Pledge $1,000 or more Pledge $1,000 or more
$1000 gets you all above and a free 30 second animated spot for your business, organization, or just for fun. The deal is simple. You provide the script, we provide the 30 seconds maximum animated spot. It's worth like, ten times that much so get on this if you have a small biz, a big biz, a cause, an idea, or just want to dream a little dream of your own.

Connected as Craig Staggs (574 friends)
Starting his long career as a caricature and portrait artist, Craig Matthew Staggs brags that he has drawn over ten thousand faces—but there is really no way to tell. Working on A Scanner Darkly, Craig did draw one face thousands of times, animating the iconic sequence featuring Keanu Reeves. Craig's eclectic career now includes producing, writing and acting for Big Ol' Tire Fire, a comedy web site that also serves as a video production company. Approaching animation with a performer's perspective and possessing an impressive arsenal of traditional art skills, Craig provides that “outsider” energy that separates Aphid Animation from the rest of the animation pack. Woof.
