And yesssss, YOU are the chosen people, and the promised land of rock & roll goodness is finally on the horizon, shooting off high-holy sparks in the distance! And up in the sky, that hail of fire, it began to rain down through the sack-cloth sky of night! It began to rain down in the form... in the form of a sign! Sweet Lawd, it's a SIGN! But even at the edge of the Promised Land, my brethren, the veil of darkness descends! News came today of an all-but certain hike in gas prices... a hike that's thrown our house into chaos, that's torn asunder the sacred film budget we initially created. Yes, y'all, it's true. Instead of $3/gallon gas as expected, powerful forces beyond our control will be ushering in a summer of $4/gallon gas. And not only that. Now those unholiest of unholies - the lawyers! - are shaking us down for close to $2,000! So friends, we're asking you - if you have it in you - if you feel that itch of righteous indignation at these recent events - if you have faith - if you BELIEVE - if you believe in the POWER OF ROCK N ROLL, we ask that you continue to join our fight, the fight to make this film a reality. We're asking you to open up your wallet one more time. And if you can't - it's OK... just promise... make a scared holy promise that you'll spread the good word to your friends, so that they too may give as you have and partake in this glorious land of milk & honey & ROCK & ROLL. Brothers and Sisters... I have a new charge, a new mission for you tonight, and that is to help us raise an extra $2,000 to cover these unforseen gas and legal expenses!
