Update #2: Drawings Done and Drawings to Come

Posted on March 31, 2010

Believers of Art and supporters of Susan,
Thank you!!! I was blown away by your support. Making these drawings has been one of the most positive, rejuvenating experiences of my life, thank you for making it possible. So! An update. All the post cards have been sent from SE Asia. Most of them should have arrived by now. If for some reason you haven't received a jumbo postcard or a small postcard let me know by emailing me at susanbuice at gmail dot com. I'll be posting pictures of all the drawings soon on my flickr. I'll link to that once they're done. Now for those of you who are waiting on the paper drawings they are currently in production. I'll be sending them out as they are completed. Once they are all finished I'll post another update with a link to all the drawings. Again, thank you so much for your support.

Update #1: So close!

Posted on February 8, 2010

Thank you backers!! I'm so close to my goal. I'm really amazed. I'm excited to make you drawings. Being on this trip is allowed me to really focus on drawing again which has been exciting for me. When I return to the states I'd really love to devote more time to making drawings and have a show in Brooklyn. You're support has really meant a lot. If you know anyone else that would a drawing please spread the word. Thanks again so much.
Love,
Susan

The Wall Street Journal listed Susan Buice among the top 20 new media moguls, and applauds the co-creation of the popular independent film and online video series, Four Eyed Monsters. In late 2002, Susan met her future co-director and collaborator, Arin Crumley, beginning a relationship that evolved into the creation of Four Eyed Monsters. The project has become a cult phenomenon. To date, the video podcast has received over two million views and cinemas across America have booked the film due to its online fan-base. The film was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards and, in June 2007, became the first feature film to be posted in its entirety on YouTube. Four Eyed Monsters has since aired on IFC TV and been sold in iTunes. A new DVD containing 5 brand new episodes has been released in the UK and Canada where Super Channel is also airing the film. The film is now available for purchase at foureyedmonsters.com
Susan has continued to create short videos and music videos some of which can be seen at vimeo.com/susanbuice. The Susan Buice mission is to create engaging heartfelt content.
