David, Sounds like you put it to the test! Hope it was a super fun day. Feedback is always appreciated. For example, the pocket originally had a velcro closure in the design, but I took it out because kiddos couldn't seem to stuff their hand in fast enough ;0 We will be working on either making the large cape broader in the shoulder area and/or creating an XL size that has more breadth. As well as more colors, fasteners and styles to come!! Please stay tuned :)

Hey Roxanne,
OK, wore my cape inside out on Mardi Gras day, pictures to follow. The cape wore very well. Over the course of the whole day, the neck strap gets old. My pocket was on the outside and didn't close, so it got caught on a door nob and ripped on both sides about an inch on the outside and an inch and a half on the inside. Also the cape had trouble staying on my shoulders and mostly congregated in center of my back. I have a solution- a small Velcro kit to allow the wearer to keep the cape on the shoulders if that's what they choose. The cape overall went over very well, and the inside rainbow stripes added greatly to my over all appearance and didn't detract as I had feared a bit. So I'll buy another cape for next year, and one for Halloween, and give a bunch away to family members and friends. Remember- purple, green and gold for 2014!

The capes are AWESOME!! I got the four-pack - and when the family arrived home, I had them randomly select one of the bundles from the box. I left for the evening with my almost 13-yr old girl running around in her pink cape and my 10yr old girl in her black one. My husband is planning to wear his as he teaches his middle school students. We are now a family of super-heroes! Such a great project that I was honored to support.

paid 35 bucks last night and am happy to do so, but I didn't see where I could order the colors and size I need, I'm a large and I need a purple and green cape, please. Purple outside, and green inside. It's for my Mardi Gras costume, either this year or next. I always dress in the purple, green and cold colors of the New Orleans Mardi Gras. Thanks very very much!

I tried to resist, I mean what do I need a cape for? Then I realized, what DON'T I need a cape for!!!
We used to wear them while re-enacting cartoon rpg adventures on the snow mountain behind our grammas house! Wooden swords in hand, we were adventurers!
Believe it or not, we haven't stop, adventuring that is! But maybe the adventure is missing something.... a cape.....
