THE PROJECT: 

This Iz My Story (TIMS) is producing new stories on two pro snowboarders, Jim Rippey and Andy Finch.  We will be creating a documentary style story and two topical videos of each athlete. These guys reached the top of their sport: appearing on the cover of magazines, in the Olympics and the X-Games. But, none of that matters as much as their relationship with God. They each talk about how their faith has impacted their lives and their careers. 

THE PURPOSE

In everything we do, we want to be centered around one purpose and that is to give the world an opportunity to hear about Jesus Christ through the power of storytelling.

HOW TO HELP?

WHERE WILL THE DOCUMENTARIES BE SEEN?

To date, the current stories produced by TIMS have reached over 90,000 views online. Beyond the online views these stories will be seen at live events put on by churches and other organizations. HOW WE PLAN TO DO IT?

Well, we have already taken a step of faith and bought airfare from Orlando, FL to Reno, NV to begin the project. The 5 day trip was completely successful. Andy and Jim are two of the most genuine people on this planet.  All of the interviewing is complete. The b-roll has been filmed. Now we're ready for post production, which is the most time consuming and work intensive portion of the project.

Andy and Jim are working on getting video content and photos from their snowboard careers as well as their personal lives, all of which will enhance the telling of their stories.  We are so thankful that these guys are really cool and willing to go the extra mile to make this a killer project.

We are currently in post-production and expect to be able to release the short films in less than 2 months.

WHAT'S THE MONEY FOR?

Glad you asked!  This Iz My Story is funded by donations from people just like yourself. Your pledges will be tax-deductable because we are a 501 c(3) non-profit organization. Rather than pitch the entire ministry to you in all it's facets, we believe it's better to raise support for specific projects. This way, you know exactly what you're giving towards and you can see the results!

This project cost us around $3,000 in travel expenses and production costs. Any amount above our goal will go towards the general funds for future projects, expenses and other needs.

Mission Statement

To reach the masses of people with the saving relationship of Jesus Christ, through the word of our testimony.

Vision

To tell the story of how God brings someone out of a Godless life and into a redeeming relationship with the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Then, distribute these stories through social networking sites online, Television or live audiences. These stories range from professional athletes, business people, college and even high school students. They will be effective as a culturally relevant evangelistic tool that can rapidly spread to fans, co-workers, friends and family.

2. My Story Groups - Events with organizations to train and equip "My Story" groups to share stories locally.
