We heard you asking us to record. Come join in the fun... SUNGLASSES!
We're a brother and sister duo born in New York City, and (organically) grown up in Portland, OR. We've both loved singing and performing since before we can remember, and we started writing and playing music together four years ago. Now we are both students at Covenant College outside of Chattanooga, TN.
After every one of our shows several people will always ask if we have CD's or music up on iTunes, and every time we have to tell them, "No, Sorry. We're working on it!" We easily have enough original work to record two full length albums but we could never afford to pay for studio time and a sound engineer.
Well, we are finally going to record an EP this Winter, and you guys get to join in the fun. We need to raise $2000. This will cover exactly five days in a professional studio (3-5 songs). We're going to record this Christmas Break (December 2012-January 2013) and release the EP this Spring.
Any extra funds we raise will go towards mastering the album (something we'll have to pay for ourselves otherwise) and making our EP even better by spending more time on each song and recording more songs.
