The Story thus far...

Volume One:  After consulting with a trickster god of knowledge, the king is convinced that his wife was murdered.  To protect his children, Tama, Mizha, and Zhiro, he sends them far away from the capitol -- only to fling them directly into danger, as assassins infiltrate their train! 

Volume Two:  Mizha unleashes her Dreamer abilities on their assailants to make her nightmares come to life - but with dire consequences to herself!  After the three siblings vanish, the captain of the guard, Warren, and an eccentric investigator, Pakku, hunt for the assassins that attacked the royal family.  Meanwhile, Tama and Zhiro discover a hidden civilization while on a quest to save Mizha from her nightmare realm.

There are few things I can't draw!  Original characters, favorite cast members from comics, films, and TV, even caricatures (if you have a photo handy!)  At request, I've added three different types of commissions!  All are on cardstock, with archival ink!

Original LeyLines Pages

For the first time EVER I will be parting with the original artwork for LeyLines pages.  This includes both the blue-line/inked drawings, which make up most of the pages, and the detailed pencil drawings used for most of Mizha's dream sequences.  The pencil drawings take me longer to make, and are much rarer than the inked drawings, so those are valued higher.

The Story thus far...

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

All the content for the book is finished, but it will need to be assembled into a format that can be sent to the printers. I will be doing that during my Thanksgiving holiday (late November).

Delays in printing and shipping can be killer, so I'll need to stay in close contact with the printer selected. I plan on bi-weekly calls, to make sure that any issues that come up are addressed quickly.

Spreading the word, both about this project and the final book, is the hardest part for me! I've gotten some help to evaluate reviewers, but there's still a lot of work to be done in investigating libraries, bookstores, and other places that might be interested in my graphic novel. If you know of an independent-friendly store, please let me know!!
