Oops! It was on the previous updates!
Sorry, I wrote it so many times, I forgot to write it again :)
SAT. 21st April 2012
Thanks for pointing that out.
Andrew
Hey! Your latest CO Kickstarter update is all too exciting. THE ONLY ESSENTIAL PIECE OF INFO THAT SEEMS TO ELUDE ME (AM I THE ONLY ONE NOT CLEAR?) IS THE DATE OF YOUR LAUNCH PARTY? IF IT'S THIS WEEKEND, then I am one unlucky gal...and will be amongst those receiving her freshly printed copy in the snailmail.
I am in Sacto from late 4/16-early 4/18 for a lobby day event on Capitol Hill for Healthcare reform, representing the minority ethnic physicians. If your car is working, can you meet me in Sacto on Tuesday nite 4/17? I will NOT have wheels this time. Cheers!
Thanks, MP :)
It's not too bad here. Good to be in the company of other artists. One feels less weird. I would say that's the best thing about doing these art residencies (this is my second one).
Cheers,
Andrew
The cover looks de-lish! Can't wait to have someone try out the recipe and I eat it...I'm too lazy to cook meals that are labor intensive...what working mother has the time these days? har har... As for YOU, youngish wanderlust child. Sounds like you're living LARGE these days. I admit I am only SLIGHTLY jealous that you currently have world-class chefs cooking for you and living @ the Villa Montalvo like one of those rich bougie bougie types...oh well, maybe when NU grows up in ~10 years and we are financially independent, we can then HANG with the world's rich and famous self-published authors like AXP! haha! Hollah and KUDOS on reaching yet another benchmark!
p.s. in the interim before CO sees the light of day, I am savoring every chapter of your Eaves of Heaven. Delighted to read chapters Phan Thiet and Dalat--2 cities very close to my heart and family's heritage, yo!
Felicidades, hermano! Looking forward to the release of Culinary Odyssey. We'll see you in SF next weekend, if the gods permit. In the meantime, come down to SoCal and revisit your old Alma Mater in LA! Cheers and keep up the great work.
warmest kudos!

Any updates, Andrew?
Congrats Andrew! Perhaps the story that accompanies the recipes will be amenable to a movie similar to the cute 2009 Julie & Julia :) I'm looking forward to the ebook & print version!
Congratulations on making your goal. I look forward to reading your culinary book and possible making dinner from it.
Thank you, Jeff, Sy, Lan, Harry, Louie, & Patty! And thank you all my backers! You've made it happened! Merry Christmas, everyone!
Andrew
Congratulations! Eagerly awaiting the finished product!
Congratulations! I'm sure you'll it will be an excellent book.
You are almost there, Andrew!
Andrew, mothers are NEVER wrong.
For those who have yet to bump up their pledges to the next level, this is the time to do so.
For those who are on the fence debating whether to make a pledge, this is the time to do so.
If you're still undecided, read the Uncle Tu excerpt in update #4 in the "Season's Greetings" .pdf . Some very good life advice in it. And then...
Just do it! (make a pledge).
Thanks everyone. You're all too kind. We'll get there. My mother said she has "good feelings" about it--her sixth sense working :)
It's nail-gnawing time. I really want this project to fly. I think it is a great way to fund creative start-ups of all sorts. Good luck to you, Andrew!
Everyone, the time is drawing near for Andrew with only 54 hours left to go. I just upped my pledge and am hoping that every backer does as well. Please guys, he is so close and if each one of you just up your pledge by 10 dollars, he would surely make his goal! We need more people doing more projects like this!
Reading Uncle Tu's story leads me to state ACO will be a most worthwhile read and being able to experience the recipes involved is a bonus as it sets the palate for the stories. Thank you, Andrew!
