Hello Dear Backers,

Thank you as always for your support! Thanks to you and lots of hard work from our cast and crew, the film is nearly done. We finished principle photography and our editor, Katie Dillion, and I have been editing for the last couple months. I'm very excited to share with you our official trailer with music by our composer, Arlen Ginsburg. Hope you enjoy it!

Hey Friends & Backers!

Just wanted to give everyone a head's-up...the bull shoot and call for extras for tonight - Friday, June 8th - has been CANCELLED!!

Many apologies for any inconvenience and as always...HUGE THANKS to anyone who reached out to us with your interest in being an extra in the shoot! We love, love you all...your continued energy and enthusiasm for this project blows us away!

Dear Backers - Thank you again! A little over a week ago we woke up stunned at your generosity and enthusiasm towards Sin Matador.

And then we got to work!

It's been a big week for us - here are some of the things we've done since Sin Matador was successfully funded on Kickstarter:

• Pressed go the construction of our set elevator (led by Production Designer, Brett Banakis) including a trip to Materials for the Arts in Queens to get salvaged stuff for the project.
• Secured four locations (apartment, lobby, storage room, fruit stand) - yay! And lost one - boo!
• Shot listed with Cinematographer, JP Wakayama Carey. (This means thinking out each and every shot for the film. We have over 65 at the halfway point. Pic of JP/Zach working below.)
• Made 3D safety schematics of all the scenes involving Pat the Bull to submit to all concerned parties, especially our insurance provider. (An example from the elevator scene shown below.)
• Cast Gonzalo Buza as the Mozo de Espada (shown here in the threatening stance he'll take towards Darren) and Mauricio Leyton as Renaldo the matador.
• Bought the matador costume, which should soon arrive from Europe. (Amsterdam, actually, whoda thunk?)

And the list goes on! We're working day and night and shooting starts next week! We'll keep you updated on our progress and send you your rewards as they are created.
