Ana Romero is an independent textile designer that specializes in developing prints for the fashion market. She has exhibited her work at design events like Printsource and Direction by Indigo and sold her designs to various brands: Anthropologie, Parke and Ronen, Paperchase, Rebecca Taylor, Macy's, Crate & Barrel, Pily Q Swimwear, Garnet Hill, Beals... and many more.

Having worked as a textile designer since 2008 and established her own studio in NY, her goal now is to translate her fashion inspired prints into a collection of living accessories. This collection will be introduced at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in May 2012.

By participating in this pledge you will become a part of the launch of an independent designer's collection of silk pillows, silk scarves and iPhone cases at one of the most renowned events in the world. The funds will cover the costs of a 10'x10' booth, furniture for exhibiting at ICFF, and other necessary expenses for the launching of the collection.

There is an incredible amount of effort and money to putting a collection together so visibility is key to launching a project like this. The ICFF event will be the opportunity to expose the collection to the design industry, retailers, buyers and press.

We will cover the rest of the costs ourselves, which include: furniture and lighting for the booth, wallpaper and signage for the booth, production of all the samples of the products, printing of the catalogue and pricelist... It's a never ending list and that is why your participation is welcome! 

Participation will also earn you some exclusive rewards: scarves, pillows and iPhone cases from the collection, as well as limited-edition signed prints! As a token of appreciation all backers' names will be featured in our blog and facebook page!
