YYDC needs your financial support to commute and perform at Jacob's Pillow Inside Out Dance Festival this June 28th.
Yin Yue Dance Company is currently looking for financial support from peers and funders for upcoming projects. YYDC is invited to present a 30 min dance work at Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out Festival on June 28th and other dance festivals in the summer 2012. Your help will not only make this upcoming project possible, but also many more in future!!!
We are currently rehearsing at The New 42nd street studio at subsidized studio rate by the NYSCA rehearsal space Grant. We are working on a dance about physical movement and composition and exploring the ongoing internal and external conflicts revolving around the ideas of reality, alternate reality and distorted reality.
We want to throw a fundraise movement to collect support to help us to better work on this project.
-rent rehearsal space ($10 -$15 per hour studio rental rate)
-cover costume expenses
-pay rehearsal compensation to dancers' hours upon hours hard work
-pay performance fee to each dancer's stage appearance
-travel expenses
-pay collaborators who can help with music, video, photography
It will be extremely hard for one person to do, however with the help from a group of people, nothing is impossible!!!
We need help to stay longer in the studio, take time to create movement, push physical limit in each rehearsal, challenge ourself in dance, any donation, matter what size, that you can offer will make a difference.
