A recording project for the debut, full-length album of Antoine Allain.
Hello everyone! I am singer-songwriter Antoine Allain and welcome to my Kickstarter page.
For the last 6 months, I have been hard at work on my debut album, "The Life." Here is how it happened... I started posting videos on YouTube of me singing some of my favorite songs, and I began writing original material with the hope of one day recording my own album. San Francisco-based music producer, Gabe Lackner, approached me about collaborating on some music after seeing these videos online. I jumped at the opportunity, and immediately drove up to SF to start recording. Our chemistry in the studio proved to be both inspiring and prolific. I am determined to get my music out to the world, all I need is a little help from you!
The costs to finish this album have really added up. I am offering rewards that are music-related, as well as those connected to my unique set of surfing and skateboarding skills. So, even if you don’t want a music-related reward, you can get yourself (or a loved one) a surf or a skate lesson. If I reach my goal, I will have a special compensation for everyone that has donated. I have set the goal for $8000. This covers all of the costs for recording & mastering, session-musicians, album artwork, and cd & vinyl duplication. If you help me exceed my goal amount, the money will be used to fund a tour with a backing band, make more music videos and continue recording new songs for all of you.
