i want to make tin types

Hi. My name is Emily B Hall and I want to make & take tintype photographs. I am a contemporary commercial photographer who wants to bring to life the 19th century art of wet plate collodion photography. I want to ditch my digital gear & travel to Yosemite National Park in May of 2012 to work with Will Dunniway, one of the worlds leading collodion photographers, and create tintypes. I want to stand in the footsteps of Carelton E Watkins & Frederick Scott Archer and document Yosemite and the world of 2012 using technology of 1892. I will use the funds raised in this project to build/procure a reproduction wet plate camera/darkroom, acquire necessary chemicals & materials, & to cover the cost of my journey from Georgia to California. This project is part photographic printing preservation and part artistic creation. I want to capture the world in a beautiful and forgotten medium. I want to make tintypes.
