Hi!
This kickstarter page is to partially fund the release of a 7" record full of brand new songs. Meaning two. Two brand new songs that we want to get into people's hands and earholes as soon as possible. And so we're turning to you, the heroic supporter of culture, to make this an awesome, inclusive "d.i.o." effort. ("Do It Ourselves." Like, all of us together. Not like Ronnie James.)
This will also hopefully be the beginning of a longer-term project supporting all kinds of Michigan-based artists. Exciting times, friends. Exciting times.

Empty Orchestra is a band from Flint, MI. We play music that we understand as a kind of Americana; one composed of punk, blues, folk, and experimental musics. Since 2006, we've played all over the country, releasing all sorts of music in all sorts of ways. We've also met a lot of great musicians and friendly people along the way. We would like to continue doing this work with your collective help.
