Welcome to Wisharoo Park

The Hope Message of Wisharoo Park

Hope is the belief that the future will be better than the present coupled with the belief that we have the power to make it so.

Today’s children are growing up in a world filled with uncertainty. Their young lives are marked by many transitions and some turmoil that in many cases cause them to be fearful or without hope for their futures. Years of clinical research with more than a million children of all ages has revealed that hopeful children are able to develop the ideas, the plans and the motivation to make things happen and perform better in school, have stronger relationships and lead happier lives. Research has also demonstrated that hope is more than a trait that some posses and others do not. It has shown hopeful thinking is a cognitive skill and can be taught to children at a very young age.

Wisharoo Park is a ground breaking preschool property- the first to enrich, develop and teach children the transformative skills of hopeful thinking.

Wisharoo Park is being developed as the first preschool property to do just that; to teach children the invaluable skills of hopeful thinking. The stories of Wisharoo Park will be powerful devices to teach preschool children and their caregivers the skills of hopeful thinking. The characters of Wisharoo Park will model these skills so that children and parents can easily learn to become hopeful thinkers.

What is Wisharoo Park?

Wisharoo Park will be an 11-minute animated show featuring great characters, music and lessons for preschool children. The entire show takes place on what seems to be a typical neighborhood playground filled with tunnels, slides, teeter-totters and swings. Each episode of Wisharoo Park depicts a playful twist on a seemingly mundane event - a parent taking a child to a playground. Every parent has done it. They walk into the playground, issue last-minute safety instructions and then take a seat on the bench as their child heads off to play with friends. Only THESE friends are just a little bit different!

Unknown to the parents, as the child walks onto the rubberized surfaces of Wisharoo Park, brightly colored playground friends take them by the hand and lead them on a magical adventure they will never forget! All the fantasy worlds of your average playground come to life with the help of these Wisharoo Park Pals.

WHAT WILL YOUR FUNDS GO TOWARDS?

Your funds will help us get a pitchbook and a pilot done and get out and pitch this great show concept to the networks and to other potential production partners. To date, we have made great strides in show development and character development. We have a great creative team in place and are eager to take this to the next level. We can only do that with your help!
