Our documentary "Seeking Happily Ever After" (www.seekinghappilyeverafter.com) examines the plight of the single, 30-something woman and asks whether it's time for all women to start redefining "happily ever after."
From fairytales to vibrators and online dating to IVF – our film is no holds barred. Experts (including Patti Stanger of “The Millionaire Matchmaker” and Greg Behrendt, author of “He’s Just Not That into You”) weigh in along with single women across the U.S. to uncover why there are more single 30-something women than ever and how they feel about it. Are women really “too picky”? Does the death of courtship play into this story? Parents who pressure? The ticking biological clock? As you’ll see, everyone has something to say about this topic! While we made this film for sisters around the world, it ended up being heralded by men and women alike.
After three years of (self-financed) filmmaking we're ready to bring this eye-opening documentary to a theater near you - but we need a little help to the finish line. Your money will go straight to completing the doc, including color correcting, licensing, music and travel for the festival circuit. Any excess funds will go into marketing and outreach.
