Update #10: Fundraiser Successful!
At this point this is mostly a repost, but I'd just like to say that I am floored, True Bowlievers. Thanks to you my Kickstarter raised $3,784 to fund my band’s budget for SXSW and a lot of equipment we’ll be using to continue performing beyond it. To my faithful backers, you are all awesome and deserve medals. I will be mailing out commission request forms ASAP and hopefully will take care of all the video commissions, jingle commissions, and autographed CD’s in the next week.
Again, I can’t stress enough how amazed I am that this fundraiser made such a successful pull. Without this money we could never have dreamed of bringing so many talented people from so many different parts of the country together on a whim like this. Thanks to all of you for your support.
Update #9: Shows, Shirts, SXSW
It's all coming together - in just a few hours we'll be playing the first show we've ever done together for an audience of fans. I'd just like to say thank you to everyone for all your help - the expenses to make this happen have been wide and many, and we're incredibly grateful knowing that your pledges are paying for the supplies it will take to make this event happen. Here's looking forward to this and SXSW!
A couple of other things: I'll be getting back to commissions during the break between rehearsal periods - I'm going to set my goal at one new song per day. There's 7 days left to make pledges to this project so if you feel like raising your pledge for a longer song or you know anyone who would be interested in a signed copy of Ithaca on CD you've got just a week to join in on the process.
Also, the "thank you" list goes on far longer than I could have ever expected, so instead of simply listing your names during "How Do I Live", which now seems like an unfeasible task, I'm proud to announce that I'll be putting the names of all the donors on the official Bowman shirts which I'll be putting together next week. The popular suggestion seems to be putting my head on it, so we'll look into creating that design soon!
Update #8: Copyright Clarification
Hey all, just want to make sure people understand that I cannot accept requests to create Homestuck-related commissions. Andrew Hussie is the exclusive rights-holder to Homestuck, and he has outlined a pretty firm policy on Homestuck commissions here. I'm also going to have to say that any commissions derived specifically from copyrighted work is off-limits too (aside from projects of your own, you can still have me do a theme for your web series, etc).
Update #7: Free Concert!
I'm already exhausted from adding this to every social media outlet I'm a member of, but I'll be hosting a free concert along with the rest of the band on February 25 in Austin TX. Here's the poster:

This is going to be the first concert that my band performs together and will be a good preview of what we'll be doing at SXSW in March. If you're a Homestuck fan you should definitely show up in costume.
Facebook event is here: http://www.facebook.com/events/260436494029882/
The location is T.B.A. Please RSVP so I can send you the address week-of. If you don't have Facebook you can always message me via Kickstarter. I am PUMPED.
Also, here's a new commission about Marching Band requested by Mason Herschberg:
Update #6: Commissions are happening as we speak
For those who haven't been checking their email or who might be wondering if the commissions have come to fruition, I must first ask why you aren't following me on Tumblr or Twitter or some other social network. Then I must happily inform you that I've started on commissions for you incredibly faithful donors.
First, here's a jingle I made for Connor Norris for an untitled web series he wants to create in the future. The jingle is called "Conro Corp Anthem" and goes a little something like this:
And here's another one - it's a short song based commissioned by Jeremy Geist based on an astoundingly warped session of Hunter: The Vigil he's been playing with his friends who seem to enjoy ridiculous 80's rock music and action shows. It's called "Explosion Force (They Do It Right)" and behold, it is glorious:
Anyway, expect more music both charming and ridiculous. I love all of your insane requests, and while it's tiring work crunching out all these new songs, it's a pleasure knowing I'm doing work for such generous donors. Be sure to look out for all the new tracks on my Soundcloud profile and a selection of tracks on Commissions Vol. 1, a compilation I'll be deploying on my Bandcamp store hopefully in March.
