Heh. I put this off long enough, sorry I'm late guys!
Just pledged $50 for a song for my girlfriend. Can't wait to hear it! :D Congratulations on this wonderful success Bowman and co.
Whoa just noticed the name reading thing.
I'm not... could you... but... if you want to?
When are messages going to be sent out? After the money is taken?
MAKING THIS SHIT HAPPEN
I hope you get 200% of what you need!
$3,000 flat! Congrats Bowman!!
*Achievement Unlocked*
$4.13 pledged. Best of luck to you, Bowman!
You have my five bucks. Good luck with being great at SXSW!
That can be arranged!
Could you read the names "Tory Fields" and "Andy Vaughn" together? I gave $6 so that we could be bunched together. :p
I don't think that would help. You English-speaking people don't even have proper "R"s
Maybe I should just have everyone write how their name is enunciated on the forms that ask for their prize request.
I would be eternally in your debt if you said my name in a ridiculous death-metal voice
Captain Faulconbridge sounds awesome though.
Wish I had more money to spare. Still, better than nothing :D
Someone in middle school liked to call me Captain Faulconbridge. Which was a step up from James and the Giant Peach in elementary.
James FalconPUNCH!
Should be obvious, but just in case, pretend the 'u' isn't there. Falcon bridge.
Hello! My name is really hard to pronounce but here's the best way to say it: Deck-lin Jong. Thanks so much Mr. Bowman!
My last name is Bullshit.
Speaking of that, my last name is pronounced 'Shampoo'
Since you are planning to have the concert recorded, I will enjoy your attempt to pronounce all foreign names, including mine. Good luck to all involved regardless!
Thanks!
I promise to make sure that the shorter songs are just as polished as the longer songs - if you want to ensure its quality, feel free to make suggestions about what sort of music you want to hear (genre, etc).
Also, the concert will be recorded - I'm setting up a way to get a high-quality audio recording of it and setting up some friends as videographers to film the concert.
If you get a lot of song orders, will time still be spent on the lowest option songs?
Will there be any kind of recording of the result (SXSW concert) to purchase?
Hmmm, I see..... Indeed..... Lol Bowmans already almost 1/3 the way there.
I'm not a regular performer, though I've taken courses and kind of kept a keen interest in it for a long time - in theatre it's been a very valuable tool and I encourage anyone interested in improving the overall quality of their life to take some lessons.
Okay, now to let my mind churn. . .
Do you regularly do Improv? I didn't know you were an actor as well.
I totally mean improv humor. While I don't think the others have had any formal improv or theatre training, everyone's really pumped about the idea. Plus, depending on who's in my crew, there might be some other guest stars...
When you say improv show you, do you mean improv music/concert or improv humor (based on the idea of my choosing)? I'm guessing the latter, but I will muse upon ideas of grandeur and make it as entertaining for you as it is for me.
Noah, I promise you I will stop at nothing until I have secured enough money to drink too much coffee and perform the most haphazardly-performed improv show in existence with the rest of the band! Take your time in coming up with a fun suggestion, just so long as we can read it and understand what you want us to do when we're all jacked up on caffeine between rehearsals. Thanks so much for the pledge!
Bowman, you better gather enough money, or I will have to learn How To Live Without You!
If the lunch date ends up even half as awesome as I know the concert is going to be, then I have no doubt everything will be amazing.
Ryan you are a saint. If this all goes through I promise you our lunch date to Top Notch will be the kind you see in movies... specifically the movie Dazed and Confused which actually filmed there.
Bowman it is worth every penny.
