16mm Films Digitized
We are very excited to announce that, thanks to your extra support, we have digitized the original 16mm films from the Mergenthaler Linotype Company!
These films were educational and sales films for the Linotype company and were given to us by someone we interviewed for the film. He had received the films from the person that had purchased all of the assets of the Linotype hot metal company when it went out of business.
Here a few screen shots from the films. We will be releasing more information about the films in the future.
Thanks again!
Doug, Jess and Brandon

Bill,
Glad the poster arrived - enjoy! The 16mm films do not deal with repair or restoration but are more sales/promotional in nature. They do go into some detail on how they work, but nothing to do with maintenance.

Doug--Received my Linotype mini-poster, as promised, in perfect condition. With regard to the 16mm film conversions: are any of these releated to maintenance, repair or restoration? Thanks to the three of you and keep up the good work. Best regards, Bill Powers, Tucson, AZ

Michael,
Yes, we are currently talking with them. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you talked to the Internet Archive? Assuming you can distribute the films, I'd bet they'd be happy to host them.
