Pool Project and Art Portfolio
I plan to make an art portfolio to show my art. I would like to show my portfolio to magazines in hopes of getting published. My project that I plan to showcase is this empty black hole of a swimming pool. It does nothing, it looks terrible, and it looks like it would be a beautiful blank canvas for my art project.
I hope to do mosaic a design onto the bottom of the pool, fill it, create beautiful lighting, and create rock structures and unique sculptures around it. I want it to look like an oasis, full of natural beauty, but also incorporate things that are surreal. I was once told that my art is fantastical, where reality meets the imagination. This project will bring my work to life and start me on my long awaited journey to become a professional artist.
My project from start to finish: It will start when I receive the funds and will end when the pool and small surrounding area are repaired, landscaped, and designed for my portfolio photographs. I hope to accomplish this in the next couple months, but have given myself until October if I receive enough funds to finish this massive sized project.
I put down the minimum goal amount I am looking to achieve on this project, but with this being the largest project I’ve ever done I’m certainly hoping for all the support I can get. I am truly appreciative of all my backers and want to thank you all in advance for your generosity. This project means the world to me.
