Update #14: Exchange rate
Dear Backers,
I have just spoken to the primary contact at Amazon Payments Inc. (a subsidiary of Amazon.com). They are in charge of all customer services and payments done at amazon.com.
If you are having any problems with the reimbursement of the payment made on the Erlik KickStarter project. Please address all requests to Amazon Payments internal issues email address, fps-cs-merchant@amazon.com.

They have been made aware of the unfortunate situation and are available at any time to answer questions and solve issues such as exchange rate discrepancies.

Update #13: ERLIK latest info
Dear Erlik Backers,
From the moment the 2011 collection was finalized and sent for production in Italy, It has been quite an adventure. And especially these last 4 weeks with the end of the KickStarter project and the logistical challenges that followed.
I would like to start by apologizing for the inconvenience that the Amazon system has created. At this point, both KickStarter and Amazon have personally express regret to Erlik for their unfortunate mistakes.
They have offered us the opportunity to start a new promotional campaign as of September 2011 and have promised that all logistical issues have been resolved (or will be). I am still debating if this would be a good opportunity for Erlik...
The Erlik Team is now concentrating on the production of our new collection and our priority is to prepare the launch including our merchandising materials, e-commerce website so we are able to efficiently service all our clients and backers.
We will keep you informed on a continuous basis and we encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have.

Update #12: Erlik, KickStarter and logistic update
Dear Erlik Backers,
As you have read in our last communications, Kickstarter and Amazon ran into some logistical problems concerning the payments on the Erlik project.
I have one goal at this point : keep you as informed as possible. So to this effect… this is the latest news on issues of payment and delivery of your sunglasses or eyewear.
Today, all backers should have been repaid through their credit cards.
Some of you have already used paypal to settle your accounts and I thank you greatly for the quick response.
For all other backers, you can through an easy process open a paypal account and make your payments to amasse@erlik.com (primary Erlik account)
For those who do not feel comfortable with the paypal process or do not wish to open an account, we are actively preparing the e-commerce website and will let you know as soon as it is operational.
We encourage you to contact us with any questions you may have.

Update #11: Important-relevant payment news
Dear Backers,
We have been struggling with a logistic problem concerning payment through the Amazon system and unfortunately the issue cannot be resolved. We truly apologize for this inconvenience.
At this point, these are the steps that will happen in the next day or so :
- Amazon will refund all the accounts (even those that have been fulfilled and delivered)
- For all of you that have already received your sunglasses, if you have a paypal account, you will be able to send your amount to Erlik.
- For those who do not have a paypal account, we will get in contact with you directly by e-mail or by phone. So we can arrange proper payment and procedure.
- Would you all be so kind to send your information (address and phone number) to amasse@erlik.com
Again, we apologize for this unfortunate issue.
We will do our best to make these next steps as easy as possible.
