Kickstarter

Hello current and future members of Not-Its! nation. We are The Not-Its! As some of you already know we are a kid powered rock band based in Seattle. The idea for The Not-Its! started with us getting together as friends (with our growing families) and talking about how there weren't any full-on rock band for kids. Our own kids love to rock out so we filled what we saw as a gap and started The Not-Its! We have been playing rock music for kids and their families for almost three years now. In that time we have self-produced and self-released two full length records. With some hard work and the support of an amazing community our fan base just keeps growing.  We have even garnered some national attention and we are so excited to have been asked to play Kindiefest in Brooklyn and Jiggle Jam in Kansas City this spring.

We are currently gearing up to record our third album and we are hoping to have Kickstarter (you) help us make our best record yet. While we are so proud of our first two records we really want to kick it up a notch by spending more time in the studio and hiring a producer.  A producer will help us get great sounds from our instruments, help us with arranging and mix it all together to form a stellar CD for our fans. The costs for this record (including recording studio, producer, mastering, artwork, duplication and promotion) will be over $10,000.

We will have about $5000 in our bank account when these costs are due so we are asking for your help to cover the rest. Our goal is to raise $4000 by April 30. This Kickstarter campaign will not get funded unless we meet this goal. If you collectively pledge $3999 we will get nothing (and you will not get charged). We want to make you a part of this exciting project by offering some fun pledge prizes (featured to the right). We know that with your help our next CD will be our best ever and our infectious pop tunes will rise to the level of a pandemic. All of Not-Its! nation will be infected and there is no cure!!
